Copper Basin 300

January 2027

The Copper Basin 300 sled dog race, often known as the CB300, is a challenging mid distance race held in the rugged wilderness of Alaska. Covering roughly 300 miles, the route takes mushers and their teams through remote backcountry, frozen rivers and exposed mountain terrain, testing both endurance and strategy. Originally created to provide a competitive and well organised race in the Copper Basin region, it has grown steadily in reputation over the years.

Today, the Copper Basin 300 is widely regarded as one of the toughest qualifiers for the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race, attracting experienced mushers from across Alaska and beyond. With its unpredictable weather, long distances between checkpoints and demanding trail conditions, the race offers a true test of mushing skill while maintaining a strong sense of tradition and community in the Alaskan interior.

Yukon Quest 550

February 2027

The Yukon Quest sled dog race, starting on February ,6 2027, in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, promises an exhilarating challenge for mushers and their teams. This iconic race, known for its breathtaking landscapes and extreme conditions, now focuses solely within Canadian borders, following a revamped route that highlights the rugged beauty of the Yukon.

Participants will traverse approximately up to 550 miles of snow-covered wilderness, navigating through remote communities, frozen rivers, and dense forests. The separation from the Alaska course allows for a renewed emphasis on the unique terrain and culture of the Yukon, fostering a deeper connection to the land and its history

Yukon Odyssey 100

February 2027

A race for mushers, hosted by mushers, this 100mile 8-dog continuous race format takes place in our own backyard utilizing many of our home training trails.

Percy De Wolfe 200

March 2027

A true wilderness race to commemorate the late Percy DeWolfe, and all the mail carriers of days gone by, that used to brave these hostile landscapes to deliver the messages that kept our communities connected while everyone hunkered down waiting for sunnier days.

This 200mile 9-dog continuous race format will be a true test and fully self-supported without any restocking areas.

We will use all our wilderness survival and race experience to get our team happy and healthy to the finish line.
